If you do one thing tonight.

La fille, le fil, le concert

Here at Glitterditch, we like our pop music to be a bit interesting. We love dance-along, clap-along fun that sometimes has a knowing smile. We quite like multi-layered experimental drones and Frenchie theatrics too. And funky animal noises and burp-beats. So Camille, whose music is beatsy sing-along gold, is a shoo in really. The quirky gallic genius is playing tonight at Koko tonight, promoting her new album Music Hole. We've never seen her live, but by all accounts an amount of audience participation, screaming tap dancing and craziness is to be expected. She's one of those artists you 'experience' live.

If you're not sure you've heard of her, rack your brain and you might remember the fabulous punky new lounge of Nouvelle Vague. She also wrote for the Ratatouille soundtrack. But she's more theatrical folk diva than Disney princess: she gets Bjork comparisons with every intake of breath.

Oh and her brother plays keyboard for Sebastien Tellier. Which gives her extra Glitter bonus points. Not of course that she needs them. Camille in concert, people: go see!
