Now doesn't that little gem have the potential to incite a conversational ground freeze over Mother's boiled sprouts of a Sunday. (And a bollocking off your Dad for mentioning that filth round the dinner table.)

However, us open minded sorts will be falling over our kinky little feet to experience the marvellous world of male burlesque at The Tournament of Tease, tomorrow night at Bethnal Green Working Mens Club. Brought to you by The Whoopee Club and hosted by burlesque overlord, Fred Bear (of male troupe Bearlesque), this is a competition to test the seduction skills of he-who-dares.

Tantalising tease is the name of the game, regardless of experience. To prove it, first-timers are welcomed onto the stage for their chance to be crowned king of the tournament.

If the thought of frolicking amateurs makes you feel sullied - and not in a good way - fear not. There's some pros to show you all how it's done: Rod lightning, Simon Bear (colleague of Fred) and the ironically named Luke Warm.
