Prison Blake
Like Romeo and Juliet, Elizabeth and Richard, Donald and Ivana before them, Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil are star crossed lovers destined for a somewhat bleak end. With the couple's parents warring over which of the pair the fault lies and Blake, the tortured romantic hero banished to prison, it could have almost be penned by the Bard himself.
It was only a matter of time before the tragic twosome got the comedy send up treatment and this spring the pair will be "starring" in a Prison Break style spoof.
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but bets are on that their depiction won't be all too complementary
Imagine the two now; Amy breaking her way into Pentonville with nothing but a pair of stilettos and a crude array of weaponry concealed in her barnet and by using her amazingly ill drawn tattoos, she sets forth to set her husband free: "Blakey, we just need to follow the thigh, hop over the chuff and head for the right nipple".
Comedy gold is upon us.
