It is almost too cold to type. London's snapped and become a spring-winter wonderland of sleet. We are standing, slipping, sitting, sleeping in a shakey snow-dome city. And there are Polar Bears stalking the streets! They're playing jazz clubs! And swimming the Thames! They're ringing your mobile phone!
Well, only if you ask them nicely. If you like your jazz electonic fun without the lounge and with a bit of an edge, a Polar Bear gig at Ronnie Scott's might well be the thing to bring the feeling back to frost-bitten feet.
