Naomi arrested again; world admires consistency
Taking the hit for all disgruntled travellers, Naomi Campbell stepped up to the plate and berated BA officials so thoroughly that they got the police to forcibly drag her off the plane.
""So far as we are aware BA have still failed to offer any explanation as to why her bag went missing at Terminal 5," her spokeslady says, apparently unaware that BA is just a bit crap of late when it comes to dealing with luggage in their shiny new climes.
But we have to say, for such a pretty lady, Miss Campbell is rather well-known to the police. We reflect through misty eyes on her past imbroglios...
- In 2000, she plead guilty to assaulting an assistant with a telephone. As part of her sentence, she was required to attend anger management classes. We suspect she wasn't a star pupil.
- In 2005, Naomi beat yet another assistant about the head with her Blackberry, in a shocking misuse of expensive tech equipment and inexpensive human resources.
- in 2006, she attacked her housekeeper with yet another mobile, this one apparently all fancy and jewel-encrusted. Despite this, we believe, she is still permitted to own telephones.
While, frankly, Miss Campbell's bad temper isn't admirable, we at least have to respect the manner in which she is true to herself, not to mention her ability to maintain her high profile, even as her modeling career flags a bit, through small-scale crime.
