If you do one thing tonight.

Music to run home about

The Olympic Torch relay has gotten us thinking. Not just about Tibet and human rights and protests though. And not just about the drug scandals that can be expected to come out in Beijing. And not about Linford Christie who didn't carry the torch in London because of just such a scandal. But do you see what happened there? How much more interesting is most anything else is compared to the sport itself?!

It is the doping scandals that get our interest though (well, those and the gold medals. Now, that's a pretty necklace). All those little pills. Which is why we thought we'd point you towards the Clinic for tonight's fix. Not so much a dispensary as a shot of art-rock wonderful. This is super-performance aural magic in a gig.

Playing at the 229 tonight, Blackburn's finest are promoting their new LP 'Do It'. Expect as many electric organ drones, pop choruses and singalong psychedelic clap-alongs as will fit in to the venue box. And we promise you will not need an iPod for the next few days: Clinic hummin will be your jog hum-along.

Scoot down to the gig in your whitest whites tonight. Just do it.
