Music by numbers
Numbers can be troublesome things. Latest figures on the race for London's great golden necklace show Boris Johnson to be 10 points ahead of Ken Livingstone. That's the guy with the blond mop of hair right? And it was a real YouGov survey. Confusing things, numbers, polls, statistics....
Don't hate the maths though. It's not the numbers' bad. Plus, Glitter has found you a tasty treat that's sure to add up to a fantastic Thursday night. And it would be rude not to go.
Progressive maths-y popsters Youthmovies are playing a gig at the ICA on the 3rd to launch their new album Good Nature. It's one you really shouldn't miss. If you've not heard of Youthmovies, they're of the Battles and Foals school: bright experimental discordant joyful unexpected NOISE. And some soft, melodic, lower-case noise too. And always interesting.
We're big fans of supporting act Tired Irie too. Though the name confuses us. We just can't find any Caribbean, Jamaican, rasta vibes in there. We tried. Good stuff though. Maybe it's a numbers thing.
