Glitterbitch goes shopping.

Fancy some vintage shopping this Sunday?

retro.jpgFor some, vintage clothes are dated, unfashionable relics complete with their former owner's dubious stains and sweaty pong. To such grumpy nay-sayers, we say off with you. Glitterditch loves vintage clothes. They are often much better tailored than today's mass-produced loads, have more personality, style and elegance and will truly make you stand out from the crowd. So for those of you itching to spend your hard-earned pennies on such one-off beauties, head over to the Vintage Fashion Fair this weekend at Notting Hill.

What can we expect from this fair? Approximately 30 stalls flogging clothes, accessories and textiles dating from as far back as 1800. Pick up something small like a one-off button or splash out on used stage costumes. Rub shoulders with current designers looking for inspiration from the past, celebrities in search of their next 'wow' outfit or shop buyers looking to resuscitate former trends for the high street.

Sound like fun? Visit the 20th Century Theatre (291 Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill, W11 2QA) from 10am Sunday or visit Anita's Vintage Fashion Fairs website for more information.
