If you do one thing tonight.
Chilled by nature
London weather is teasing. Even when the streets are grey with frozen rain, there are enough sunny brightenings to make us believe it's Spring. Somehow, there are even sufficient scatterings of flowers in the parks to sustain the illusion, too. Which would be fine except... now we need it to be Summer. And that's a whole other kettle of fish involving suntans, flip-flop sandals and fantastically good music festivals. Like the Big Chill that's coming up this August. And also tonight. See how all this can get confusing?
I guess those Big Chill boys decided we all needed a little warming up. Featuring John Metcalfe, John Shuttleworth, Ursula 1000 and Pete Lawrence, this mix of comedy, high octane grooves and chilled out sensibilities sounds like the perfect way to spend a Thursday night. We speak especially to fellow SAD sufferers who may break down if they don't get their sunshine soon.
Might also be an idea to book your tickets for the August dates. Among the listed superheroes, are such greats as Leonard Cohen, Mum and the Thievery Conspiracy. When we saw that we got all shakey. We're not sure if it was cause we were crazily excited, or just on an exceptional caffeine buzz.. It might even be cause we've been big chilled.
