We like Fightstar. Busted.
We try not to be but we're impressed Fightstar. That floppy haired ex-Busted boy Charlie is good in his grunge/emo hybrid. He hasn't left his pop roots behind completely and we're looking forward to seeing them later.
The Fightstar boys are playing a sold out gig at Madam Jo Jo's later tonight. But we know where you can see him for free later on.
They're at the ever popular Fopp in Covent Garden. You'll have to leave the office straight after reading this to have even the slightest chance of squishing into the place. Like we said, the band are popular.
You may have missed out on their Oxjam gig later tonight, but go to Fopp and see them for free instead. Buy the new single 'Floods' and then give a bit of money to charity too, just to even things out. We don't want you feeling too smug now do we?
Fopp is at 1 Earlham Street in Covent Garden. You can catch Fightstar at 6pm but you know the deal by now. Get there early. All those emo kids will have been there since school closed and you don't want to miss out because annoying emo kids got in the way.

See hated Busted, the whole idea of them made me CRINGE!! But...bought Fightstars first EP...impressed...bought the last album...WOW! A simple amazing album, seriously one of the best albums ive bought recently. For fans of Muse, Deftones, and anything grungy. I think the emo tag is unfair, because most of the material, especially the last album is certainly more progressive than anything. Soundscapes, time sig changes, little riffs here and there - these boys arent MCR or 3chord wonders. And they're corking live to boot!
