THiS iS MY PARTY TRiCK

Gigs in March are strange. Everything is gearing towards the Camden Crawl. You know something wonderful is going to happen, you can feel it in Camden. Everyone is suddenly itching to play there. Mitch are there at the end of the month (more about that soon), and you can also catch THiS iS MY PARTY TRiCK in the area on 20th March.

And THiS iS MY PARTY TRiCK are well worth catching. We've seen them support Mitch, and very good they were too. They're jumpy and happy and different. They do plinky-plunky guitar stuff very well. Not a run of the mill riff to be heard in the whole set.

They've also got some pretty good lyrics. Particularly:

"Forget About Myspace, come back to my place, so I can put a smile on that pretty face."

Brilliant. Glitterbitch laughed out loud at this. Which may not have been the expected response but there's something about THiS iS MY PARTY TRiCK that make the crowd smile. Smiling jumpy crowds are always a good thing. No one wants to see moody too-cool-for-school groupies.

We're going to go and see them next week. You should listen to them here, and then pop along too.
