Must try harder.

Thirst(y)? Go Elsewhere.

It's rare that we have bad things to say about Soho. After all, it's the centre of London's nightlife for most people and we think the bars here do pretty well. But there's always one that let's the side down. The bar in question is Thirst on Greek Street.

This bar might have given us the worst service we've ever had. When we're asked if we're 'sure we want a Mojito' we expect this to be because our lovely cocktail waiter has just invented something wonderful he wants us to try. Alas, we were asked because he couldn't be bothered to make it. When we insisted he actually rolled his eyes at us. Then glared at us when we didn't tip.

Apparently, this same guy had told one of our friends just ten minutes earlier that he wasn't allowed a mojito. Because they were 'too hard'. Now, we agree. Glitterbitch makes an annoyingly rubbish mojito (but an excellent Bellini). We know how hard they are. But we're not hired to make them for people.

We don't appreciate service like this. There is no need for it. We've never had good service in here but this really made us angry. We'll never darken Thirst's door again. We like our nights out in Soho. It's bars like this that ruin it.

Thirst is at 53 Greek Street. There are lots of good bars nearby so we suggest you go to one of those instead.
