Have we got news for you?

Save money on the paper

Sleepy, Glitterati? So are we. Wednesday night is the new 3 am on Sundaynewspaper.jpg. But we're already working for you. To ease you into the day, here's a handy digest of the three key news items you'll want to know to keep up with the chat...

The Times declares that computer games will be given cigarette-pack-style warnings to help parents discern what their children should be playing. We're excited about the possibilities! How about 'excessive use of computer games may compromise future success with the opposite sex' and 'sure, go on, let your daughter play this, provided you're also happy to pay for the years of therapy.'

The Daily Mail is very excited by the outfit that Carla Bruni wore on yesterday's state visit. We like the hat, but are worried that her decidedly un-stylish flat shoes - even the Queen's are cuter - are a sign that Nicholas has a little bit of a Napoleonic complex.

The Telegraph gleefully informs us that "The wild scenes that celebrated the safe return of nine-year-old Shannon Matthews seemed to confirm many prejudices about the 'underclass'," which seems to confirm all of our prejudices about the Telegraph.
