Make Your Own Cocktail Happy Hour

As much as we'd love to be out every night of the week, sometimes things get in the way. Like laundry and the new series of The Apprentice. So to make staying in more fun, throw on your best frock and make cocktails.

We don't like standard martinis. They taste like drinking paint stripper. Expensive paint stripper at that. So here's our take on the classic to make it a little more drinkable.

The Chocolate Martini.

2 Shots Vanilla Vodka.
1 Shot Gin.
1/2 Shot Creme de Cacao

Pour everything in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake about a bit and then pour into a martini glass. Grate some flaky chocolate bits over the top.

See, it's like being at The Sanderson, but you can paint your toenails at the same time.
