Things we don't know.
London's Modern Man?
This weekend, we (somewhat cheekily) asked someone if they were 'too old to be a Metrosexual'. Which we just about got away with because we're cute. But it did get us thinking about what it means for a man to be a 'Metrosexual' in London.
Or, more importantly, what is a typical modern man in London?
Is the modern man still a 'Metrosexual' or are we over that phrase now? Apparently it still means "men with a strong concern for their appearance, or whose lifestyle displays attributes stereotypically seen among gay men" which sounds all a little bit too girly for our liking.
We've met men who are paid to teach others how to seduce women and it's got us curious about men in London. After all, women seem to spend half their time with them or talking about them. Put a cocktail in our hand and in ten minutes to conversation will be onto the boys in our life.
So you tell us. Does the Metrosexual man exist anymore? If not, who is the Modern man in London?
Disclaimer: Yes, we are aware that this post makes Glitterbitch sound a bit like Carrie Bradshaw. But we're curious and having a bit fun, we're not going to harp on about it for the next five years thinking it's much more serious than it really is.
