In Good Spirits

There's only one thing we're planning on doing tonight. We're off to see The Duke Spirit. We've waited long enough and we can't contain our excitement.

They're playing at Koko and last time we looked there were (much to our surprise) still tickets left. We're even more shocked that they're only a tenner each.

If you haven't had chance to listen to them (where have you been?) imagine a lead singer somewhere between Tinkerbell and Blondie. Throw in some excellent guitar riffs from the boys and you're pretty close to The Duke Spirit.

After our interview with them (when they made us go to Billingsgate Market very early the next day), we can't wait to see them in action. We've spent the last month singing along to Neptune on the tube and now we just have to sit patiently until we can see Leila Moss and her guys jumping around.

Who are we kidding? We're going to pour ourselves a drink and dance about to 'The Step and The Walk' while we get ready. The Duke Spirit are encouraging everyone to wear something pink and fluffy. We're not going to argue.
