Hail a cab with Kate Moss

What do you get for the person that has it all? That's what friends of Kate Moss must have been musing over as they debated what gift to give the supermodel for her birthday. The fashionista can buy or blag herself most things and so what to get. Top Shop vouchers? The latest Babyshambles album? A hearty meal and some Nicorette gum? Thinking more creatively, chums Sadie Frost, Fran and Charlotte Cutler and Jess Morris all banded together to purchase a pressie that Moss had been "hankering over for ages" - a £40,000 taxi cab.

The 34-year-old and her beau Jamie Hince are said to be thrilled with the new wheels and are looking forward to ~~having dirty sex in the backseat~~ driving around the streets of London in it. Moss is already making plans to customise the steering wheel with her initials and installing an iPod dock for Jamie (as he's a musician, don't you know.)

A source close to the pair revealed: "Both Kate and Jamie love the car and they have already lined up a few finishing touches - one of which is going to be utterly outrageous. Kate can't wait. Kate has raised the possibility of leopard skin backseats and furry dice. No one's sure if she's joking or not."

Of course she's not joking. Kate really is that brassy and grubby. The girl has touched and played with the contents of Pete Doherty's skanky pants - let's not pretend she has any standards.
