Binge Drinking and Budgets

We don't usually pay attention to those pesky politicians, but when they start taking our pocket money we notice. From Sunday, beer will go up by 4p a pint. Yucky cider is to increase by 3p a litre, wine 14 pence a bottle and spirits 55p a bottle.

This is apparently going to stop us all from binge-drinking. Well, Glitterbitch can safely say that it won't. In fact, we might just drink a few extra bottles of vino this week while they're still cheap. We think you should all go and check out those happy hours we told you about.
