Be Selfish

We don't profess to be experts, but we think the Tube may induce psychotic behavior. Just take a look at this map and see if it's not true! A crazy Tube map! Plus, just this morning, we experienced some "loss of contact with reality" while sitting on the psychedelic upholstery. There may have been a hallucination. Unless that really was Will Self sitting opposite us on the Northern Line?

You guys may have read Mr Self's fab PsychoGeography column in the Independent. Or one of his books. (We loved the Book of Dave). But don't worry if you've not gotten around to it yet. Because you can catch him reading pre-release from his new book "The Butt" tonight, at Clapham Books! The story might be a little strange, but likely all the better for that. We are assured that it is not exlusively about bottoms, but is a rather clever political allegory. Which is nice.

And just to warn you, you may hear a large amount of rustling or notice a few creases on Mr Self. We're pretty sure he has a doppelganger in freesheet form.
