Battle of the Bands Winner: She Makes War

We're pleased we did. She Makes War was great fun to watch. Girls with guitars are always going to make Glitterbitch happy. Girls who know how to play them are even more impressive.

She Makes War kicked ass last night. But in a subtle way. She knows what she's doing and doesn't just stand on stage making noise for the sake of it. There's a lot of female artists who could learn a few things from that. We especially like the song 'I deny'. It gave us goosebumps. We saw music last night that gave us goosebumps.

It was the kind of music that you have to listen to. But that was OK because we wanted to. The lady has something to say which makes a change (especially in comparison the dull band who were on straight after her). But she's also got a distortion pedal and she knows how to use it.

And yes we did like the war paint. Lots.
