The Glittery A-Z: AKA - Glitterditch

London's best bits are often the ones that have been getting it right for years. The ones that you go back to because you know you're going to have a great time. They feel new and exciting every time you go.

So we've come up with the Glittery A-Z. Somewhat traditionally for Glitterditch, we'll start at the beginning and work our way through the whole alphabet until we've shouted about all our favourite haunts. Then, if you're nice, we'll put them on a map for you so you can visit them all in one cocktail filled weekend.

Glitterditch thinks that AKA is much cooler than its sister club The End. It always seems like a lot of effort in The End. AKA is easy. You just go, drink and dance. No pretentious people, no one checking out if you're dressed right and no one looking you up and down.

It's AKA's relaxed atmosphere that keeps us coming back. Usually on a Tuesday. The crowd here can be quite studenty, but this is no bad thing if you like your boys with cool t-shirts and spiky hair. (Don't judge us!)

The bar is huge and you'll get confused looking at everything. But you get doubles as standard. Though by the time the (cute, often Spanish) bar staff have stopped dancing about, they're often larger than a double! No bad thing in our book. Drinks will set you back a fiver and you'll be drunk after 3.

Sure, you can go next door, but really, you have everything you need in AKA. It's much more of a late bar with great djs than a club. This doesn't stop people dancing. They just dance wherever they feel like it. Everyone is laughing. Everyone is happy.

Really, that's all you want from a late bar, isn't it? Why try and find somewhere else that does it better?
