Shoddy Service in Camden

We've also never been served quickly in The World's End. Yes, it might be the way the bar is shaped, but it doesn't take a genius to work out there might be other people standing on the other side, does it?

Surprisingly, the clubs aren't too bad. Koko has always been pretty friendly. (Though we hate their finger printing policy.) And despite us telling you that we liked The Cuban Bar in the Stables, we can't recall a time when we got a cocktail in less than 15 minutes. It took us forever to get our bill in Bar Gansa despite asking three times.

For some reason, when you're in Camden, it doesn't matter that the staff ignore you. Wherever you are. Now, we're not saying that it's bad everywhere all the time. But it happens more than it should.

Maybe we need to chill out. Perhaps all those young hip things don't care how long it takes to get served. They're in no rush to go and write essays so it doesn't matter. Maybe we're just not hip enough to hang out in Camden anymore (pah!). Or maybe now we don't need fake ID, we expect a little more.

Either way, we'd like to know of a cool place in Camden where we can get served without dying of thirst then do let us know. Then we'll pop along and see what it's like. Until then, we say to Camden: Must try harder.
