Glitterditch Favourites: The Duke Spirit

Last week we were annoyed that we didn't get to see The Duke Spirit. But we were playing by the sea which makes it just about ok. We had a chat with them when we got back about what they're up to. Mostly, they've been getting very excited about Neptune. Their new (rather fabulous) album.

Who's the coolest in the band?

Neptune Himself. He lives under the sea. He's cold blooded.

Who gets the most groupies?

Not the singer, that's for sure and she's mighty annoyed.

What's the most rock 'n' roll thing you've ever done?

Luke once ate one of Lemmy's speed cysts

Who's most likely to get arrested?

Leila everytime.

Who's most likely to throw a hissy fit and walk off stage?

Our Guitar Tech "Fancy Smith".The best dressed man in rock. He will often spot another band's roadie in "Korn" Shorts and bad trainers and need to have a word to the wise.

What bad songs do you secretly like?

Phil Collins and Bill Bailey's Easy Lover...... TUNE!

When is your next gig in London? Why should people come and see you?

Koko In Camden on the 25th March. It will be Religious.

If you only had one morning in London, where would you go? What would you do? Who would you see?

We'd go to Billingsgate market, make a feast fit for Neptune. And spend the rising hours on the Thames.
