What we learnt: The Weekend.
On each one of our outings, Glitterditch learns something new. Like that fact that we should never drink red wine, that kind of thing. Now we want to share these bits of wisdom with you. Like Sesame Street but without Big Bird.
Oooh our weekend has taken us lots of places. Cocktail parties were fabulous, and then we found ourselves in Hoxton yet again for more drinkies. We've drunk every spirit possible, had a really yummy dinner cooked for us and bought some bargain CDs. We also escaped hangover. We don't know how but we might just have to do it all again next week just to find out.
What we learnt:
A new cocktail! We invented. We'll call it the 'Glitterbitch' because well, why not? Here it is:
1 park gin,
2 parts brandy,
Apple juice.
Put it all together in a cocktail shaker, pour into a glass over ice. Get tipsy.
We also learnt:
Cockney rhyming slang. We know what a deep sea diver is, Claire Rayners and our favourite, sherberts. We feel cultured this weekend.
Ooooh, you don't learn this stuff at school y'know.
