What we learnt last night: The Intrepid Fox

On each one of our outings, Glitterditch learns something new. Like the fact that it's not so bad being 25, that kind of thing. Now we want to share these bits of wisdom with you. Like Sesame Street but without Big Bird.

Last night, Glitterbitch was out with the band. Which means drinking beer and listening to boys talk about boy stuff. Actually a lot more fun than it sounds.

We learnt this stuff:

The Intrepid Fox just isn't the same now it's moved. You can't move a very cool pub to a nasty venue that looks like a youth club and expect miracles. No matter how many posters you put up. It just doesn't feel right.

We love that they tried to recreate the Wardour Street magic. Unfortunately the only reason that people still come here is that there isn't another good rock pub in the area. This pub just isn't the same and if Glitterbitch is going to drink lots of beer, she'd rather do it somewhere with a little bit more atmosphere.

We also learnt:

Boys are simple. In fairness, Glitterbitch knew this already, but apparently even the most talented musicians still get excited by the thought of lots of beer and half naked ladies.

Oooh, you don't learn this stuff at school y'know.
