Our Secret to the best Gin and Tonic

The Clifton is a little known pub in St. John's Wood. So hidden away that it's a pain to find and merges in nicely with all the swanky town houses around.

If you're going to drink gin, especially during the day, you really should do it in style. Otherwise, you're just a lush.

And yes. That is a bad thing.

Despite David Beckham coming here, it's a wonderful pub and isn't arsy in the slightest. Ewan McGregor has also been known to prop up the bar as well. Inbetween riding around the world on a motorbike obviously.

The best thing is, The Clifton is actually a great pub. So do the silly 'Beatles walk' across the Abbey Road and settle into a corner with the best gin and tonic in London*. Then just wait for the rich and famous to take up the table next to you.

*Seriously. They use Hendrick's as standard.
