Our Secret Cocktail Bar

Our love of all things retro is getting stronger. Especially since we got excited by about old cartoons on t-shirts this week. It's only right that we tell you about Fluid Bar in Clerkenwell. A cocktail bar where you can play Space Invaders.

As if you needed more reason to go there, they have really rather sexy tunes upstairs. And great cocktails. Glitterbitch's favourite is some kind of apple concoction but please don't ask us what it's called. It has star fruit decorating the glass. We like that. It looks pretty.

But really, despite the fact there's a club downstairs, the djs are very good, they do sushi (which Glitterbitch hates by the way) and it's cosy and fun, it's all about the Space Invaders machines. We challenge you to get to level three. Seriously. It's a lot harder than we remember it being.

Or we're just much more drunk than we realised. But then, that's the whole point of cocktails.

Cocktails and Space Invaders. We swear, it's the happiest you'll ever be on a Saturday night.

Fluid Bar is on Charterhouse Street and it's much easier to get there from Barbican Station than it is from Faringdon.
