Just how did the Grammy bigwig's come to the decision to have Amy Winehouse play at the awards next month? Well, here's a (fake) example of how that little chat could have gone.
Bigwig #1: What about Amy? I hear she's free.
Bigwig #2: No, no, no.
Bigwig #1: It's better than Brtiney!
Bigwig #3: Anything right now is better than Britney.
Bigwig #1: So we're agreed?
Bigwig #2: What if they try to make her go into rehab?
Bigwig #1: At least people will watch the show on the TV.
Bigwig #3: You're not suggesting we use Amy to increase our ratings?
Bigwig #1: Of course not. We're the respectable part of the music industry. We wouldn't expolit someone like that. Not someone so troubled.
Bigwig #2: No, no, no.
