Glitterditch Approves
Glitterditch celebrates 2007
Yesterday we had an email challenging us to 'write a positive story'. Today, we stumbled upon a blog at Guardian Unlimited about the most annoying people of 2007.
Glitterditch knows that it's easy to write about the most irritating, usless, talentless celebs, but writing about and celebrating the talented ones doesn't happen all that often. Until now. Here's our 2007 Glittery Honours list:
In no particular order:
- Stephen Fry. Manages to be oh-so witty whilst making shows about HIV. Very clever.
- Feist. Finally some music worth listening to on our IPods.
- Jo Elvin. Glamour magazine really is the only women's mag worth buying and she makes it better each year.
- Kylie. For some reason she wasn't the Observer Music Monthly's 'Woman of the year'...
- Simon Amstell. Genius. Sarcastic and intelligent. How can Glitterditch not approve?
- Jon Ronson. Saturday's just aren't the same without his Out of the Ordinary column.
- Edith Bowman. We like her. She's cool. She's funny. (She's not Fearne Cotton).
See, now isn't this nicer than moaning about people?

some good choices glitterditch, ronson and fry especially
anyone else think that kylie's choice of outfit for her duet with leon was a bit OTT? I know she's got a an amazing body, but the lacy catsuit felt a bit ann summers
It's not her outfit that's the problem. She's fabulous. But when she appears on a show like the X-Factor, she can't get away with it.
She can't help but look OTT when everything else looks so like a Karaoke show. A bad one at that.
