The Glitter Radar
All that Glitters
What have we been coveting this week?
Shining Brightly.
- Mr Kipling Apple pies. Soooo superior to mince pies. Which are not very good.
- Greenwich Indoor Market. The only place to buy all your Christmas pressies.
- Ice skating. Nope. we're still not sick of this yet.
Could do with a polish.
- Fortnum's. Twenty grand for a hamper? Really?
- Covent Garden. Tourists. Rubbish fake statues. Tacky market. Neal Street is fun though.
Left in the gutter.
- Soup. It's just mushed up food and we're bored of it. Every single flavour.
- Neighbours being taken off BBC. Hey, don't judge us, we're sick and bored.

I must protest. Covent Garden is looking absolutely stunning this year.
And I like the statues.
It does look lovely. Hence the photo. But pretty twinkly lights do not make for a good market. They just make it look a bit prettier.
It's not all bad. But it's not worth a special trip just to the markets. But if you're there, it's nice for strolling around.
